My Last Projects

Supervisroy Control And Data Acquisation (SCADA) Project:
 SNGPL has recently installed a SCADA system for smooth operation of its gas distribution network in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Multan Regions.  Project was executed by ABB Kraft AS, Norway.  The system consists of 60 Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), UHF Radio communication network and UPS at remote sites. At central control, two Digital Alpha station 200 4/166 computers are running SCADA application software "S.P.I.D.E.R" in hot standby configuration. Acquired data is available on screen and in hard copy also. System has recently been commissioned.

SNGPL has recently purchased an Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system to remotely check the meter reading of its various industrial consumers. This system consists of one remote data logger at each consumer meter station (CMS) has IMU (Industrial Monitoring Unit) with cellular data transceiver.  This data transceiver will call the central computer and it will transfer that station's data to the central computer that maintains data files for each remote site under a unique identity.  Time tag data is available on screen as well as hard copy.
  Local Area Network:

SNGPL is planing to computerize its gas connection record, gas leak complaints, consumer disconnection/reconnection and other related jobs. For this purpose a computer network is being procured. A special customized application software will be procured for the above mentioned purposes. This network will be linked to Internet and online forms will be available to general public for information/services.
